The Dairy Farming Initiative by Kamdars Care, in collaboration with Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs), is focused on building a sustainable, farmer-led dairy ecosystem under the ethical and quality-driven brand name “Satvik Amrit.” This initiative empowers rural dairy farmers—especially small and marginal producers—by improving productivity, ensuring market access, and creating a trusted farm-to-consumer supply chain.

Satvik Amrit stands for purity, health, and tradition. It represents natural, unadulterated milk and dairy products sourced from community-based FPOs trained and supported by Kamdars Care.

Key Features:

Cluster-Based Dairy Development: Mobilizing dairy farmers under FPOs with access to shared infrastructure—milking machines, chilling units, fodder banks, and cattle healthcare services.
Clean Milk Production: Training farmers in hygienic practices, scientific feeding, and disease management to ensure high-quality milk output.
Brand Building – Satvik Amrit: Processing and packaging fresh milk, curd, ghee, and paneer under the Satvik Amrit brand, targeting urban markets through retail, subscription models, and institutional buyers.
Veterinary and Technical Support: Regular veterinary camps, AI services, breed improvement, and productivity enhancement through Kamdars Care’s expert partners.
Financial and Government Linkages: Access to subsidies and financing through schemes like the Dairy Entrepreneurship Development Scheme (DEDS) and NABARD.

OUR DAIRY INITIATIVES

The biggest challenge faced by small-scale dairy farmers, especially women, is to collect, store, and transport the milk with the proper hygiene, we recognized that issue, so Kamdars Care established a Bulk Milk Centers (BMCs) network. Where dairy farmers can bring their milk, ensuring proper hygiene and quality maintenance, use these points as collection points, and BMCs are equipped with chilling units to preserve milk to the utmost best quality available and reduce decay so our dairy farmers get a better price.

To further support our dairy farmers, KAMDARS CARE provides access to cattle loans, allowing them to acquire high-quality cattle breeds. This initiative helps farmers increase their milk production and improve their overall income.

KAMDARS CARE goes beyond milk collection by processing raw milk into various types of dairy products such as ghee, paneer, and Curd. This Value addition initiative not only enhances the marketability of the milk but also creates additional income streams for farmers and generates employment opportunities within the community.

GOAT FARMING

What is Goat Farming: Goat farming is all about raising the goat and getting various types of products that we can get from goats, such as milk, meat, and fiber production. It provides a sustainable source of income, especially in rural areas of our country. Goat milk is a valuable food source. It can be drunk or used to make cheese or yogurt too. Additionally, certain goat breeds produce high-quality fiber used in textiles. Goat farming is a sustainable and environmentally friendly practice that can help improve soil fertility and reduce land degradation.

Goat Farming Support: KAMDARS CARE doesn’t only stick to dairy production, rather in addition, we actively promote goat farming as a valuable source of income. We provide full guidance and support in various aspects of raising goats and contribute to their economic management.
