Kamdars Care, founded in 2015, is a joint group of companies that cooperate with government agencies such as SFAC, NAFED, NABARD, and NCCF. It also functions as a CBBO (Cluster Business Organization) with SFAC and NAFED. Kamdars Agro R & D Pvt.Ltd. is part of Kamdars Care and is registered under the Start-Up India initiative. Kamdars Care currently works with over 1 lakh farmers across India. The company works in various sectors to empower farmer-producer organizations (FPO) and self-help groups (SHGs) by providing complete support to increase their income. Kamdars Care is engaged in agriculture, seed farming, dairy production, goat breeding, fishing, value-added products, agricultural import/export, organic farming, contract farming, grass farming, NTFP, and sustainable livelihood practices. The company’s initiatives aim to create rural communities, especially women’s communities, which allows them to become self-sufficient, economically independent, and active participants in the local economy. Identifying the essential role of rural women in agriculture, Kamdars Care works to overcome barriers that restrict their access to resources, markets, and technical knowledge.
