Kamdars Care as a Farmer Producer Organization (FPO)
Kamdars Care Group Company has been working as a Farmer Producer Organization (FPO) since 2015. The company is supported by a strong network of more than 1,300 farmer members and is committed to improving farmers’ income through sustainable agriculture, value addition, organized marketing, and market access at both national and international levels.
Farmer Training & Sustainable Agriculture
We regularly provide training and capacity-building programs to all our members on sustainable agricultural practices. These trainings are conducted village-wise and crop-wise, ensuring that farmers receive timely and relevant guidance based on local cropping patterns and seasonal requirements.
Value Addition & Processing Activities
Kamdars Care is actively engaged in value addition through processing in collaboration with its farmer members. We undertake hand-grinding and processing of agricultural produce under our Satvik Natural Products, including:
- Arhar Dal
- Haldi (Turmeric) Powder
- Dhaniya (Coriander) Powder
- Other locally sourced agri-products
- These activities help farmers earn better returns by moving beyond raw produce sales.
- Dairy, NTFP & Allied Activities
- We operate a Bulk Milk Cooler (BMC) under the company for milk collection from member farmers, supporting dairy-based livelihoods.
- We also procure Non-Timber Forest Produce (NTFP) at the local level, helping farmers and forest-dependent members increase their income within their own regions.
Promotion & Support to Farmer Institutions
Kamdars Care has successfully promoted 43 FPOs and FFPOs and continues to provide them with technical, managerial, and business support to ensure sustainable operations and growth.
Government Procurement & Market Support
We have participated in government procurement programs, including procurement of Arhar and Onion under the PSF Scheme. Produce is directly purchased from farmer members, ensuring they receive fair and market-linked prices for their crops.
Export of Agricultural Commodities
Kamdars Care Group has expanded into export of agricultural commodities to Gulf countries. Through direct exports, we ensure our farmer members gain access to international markets and receive better price realization for their produce.
